Bible Classes for All Ages
Formally called Sabbath School, we meet in various age groups (called departments) to study the Bible in an age-appropriate manner. We begin at 9:30 AM with a brief introduction for the day, and then separate into classes for study. Below is a list of our current Sabbath School Classes:

Worship Service
We gather every Saturday (Sabbath) morning at 11:00 AM to worship our Lord. Everyone is invited to fellowship with us. We do have a Friendship Meal after the service, served potluck style, that are all welcome to join as well.
Children's Church
To serve our families with young children and to have a child-appropriate worship experience, we have started a Children's Church program that runs during our adult worship service. The children gather during the children's story portion of our worship service and then are taken to a classroom downstairs where they participate in singing, story, and crafts to help them learn about God. All our volunteers for this program have been through training and have done background checks to ensure the safety of our children.
Prescott Christian Elementary School
Set on a hilltop at 1405 Weisenborn Road, near the intersection of Mitchell Avenue and Riverside Road, Prescott offers an up-to-date, accredited curriculum for those who value a top-notch education based on Biblical principles, at affordable rates. S.M.I.L.E. - Single Moms Support Group
Single Moms Illuminate Love Everlasting, a support group centered around the emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual needs of single mothers in our community. The group meets in our church fellowship hall on the third Mondays of the month to eat together, fellowship, and discuss topics such as: support needs, common parenting concerns/mistakes, budgeting tips, coping with stress, healthful living, co-parenting, building/maintaining friendships, and how spirituality/faith affects parenting. Childcare is available.
St. Joseph Food Kitchen
Our church helps prepare food and serve at the food kitchens here in St. Joseph.
Youth Ministries
Under Youth Ministries, youth are to work together, in cooperation with the wider church community, towards the development of a strong youth ministry that includes spiritual, mental, and physical development of each individual, Christian social interaction, and an active witnessing program that supports the general soul-winning plans of the church. The goal of AYM should be to involve all youth in activities that will lead them to active church membership and train them for Christian service.
Health & Temperance
We belong to God, body, soul, and spirit. It is therefore our religious duty to observe the laws of health, both for our own well-being and happiness and for more efficient service to God and society.
Prison Ministry
Working with local jails and prisons to bring the message of God to inmates. We are working on starting a ministry to the Western Diagnostic and Correctional Center here in St. Joseph, MO.
Men's Ministry
We gather our men together for times of worship, prayer, and service.
Women's Ministry
Sharing a burden for women’s ministry and concerns, helping balance perspectives, encouraging other women to cultivate their spiritual gifts, and an ability to work well with women in the church.
Religious Liberty
The public affairs and religious liberty (PARL) department promotes and maintains religious liberty, with particular emphasis upon liberty of conscience. Religious liberty includes the human right to have or adopt the religion of one’s choice, to change religious belief according to conscience, to manifest one’s religion individually or in community with fellow believers, in worship, observance, practice, witness, and teaching, subject to respect for the equivalent rights of others.
Communication
The communication department promotes the use of a sound program of public relations and all contemporary communication techniques, sustainable technologies, and media in the promulgation of the gospel.
